Frequently Asked Questions

Does ChatGPT recommend my business?

Only if it can find clear, consistent facts about you, and most small businesses are not named. One 2026 study found ChatGPT named about 1 in 100 local businesses, where Google's top three map results covered about a third (SOCi). The assistants build each answer from what the web already says: other sites that mention you, the same details everywhere, pages that answer questions directly, and your Google Business Profile and reviews. Our AI Visibility Check, $49.99, asks ChatGPT, Google, Gemini and Perplexity ten questions your customers ask and shows you whether you are named.

What questions should I ask an SEO company before I hire one?

Ask what they will not do, and listen for three answers. A good company will not promise you a position or a traffic figure, because nobody controls either. It will not buy links, which breaks the rules of every search engine that matters. And it will not solicit or buy reviews. Then ask what the monthly report leads with. Ours leads with calls, inquiries and people asking for directions, and it includes the work that did not succeed.

How long does it take to get SEO set up for a local business?

The first step takes 3 business days: the $49.99 health check looks at your website, how Google and Bing see it, and your business profiles, and sends you the five problems worth fixing. If you go ahead, the work runs every month on a schedule, and on Grow a quarterly review decides what to change next. No one can honestly tell you when your rankings will move.

How much time will I need to spend on SEO myself?

Three small jobs. We do the technical fixes, the profiles, the content and the design. Your part is approving the review replies we draft, asking for a change when you need one, and reading one report a month that starts with calls, inquiries and requests for directions.

How long until I show up in Bing and the AI assistants, not just Google?

There is no fixed timeline, and anyone who promises you a place in an AI answer is selling something they do not have. What we do is keep your details right everywhere they are read and tell the engines when something changes: Bing also feeds DuckDuckGo, Yahoo and Ecosia, and one IndexNow submission reaches Bing, Yandex, Naver and Seznam at once. Then we measure each month whether assistants name you, and who they name instead.

Can you set up my Google Business Profile?

Yes, and by Google's rules, which is where most profiles go wrong. Your name is your real-world name, with no town or service added. You use the fewest categories that describe your core business. The description carries no prices, promotions or links. If you travel to customers, your address is hidden and your service area stays within about two hours of driving. Bing Places can then import the listing from Google, so it matches without retyping.

Do you manage the profile after it is set up?

Yes, from the Grow plan up. We keep Google, Bing, Apple and Yelp current and consistent with each other, monitor your reviews and draft replies for you to approve, and track your visibility, including in AI answers. We never ask for or buy reviews: Google removes reviews that were paid for and does not allow asking only your happy customers.

What does a monthly local SEO plan include?

Grow, $329 a month, includes everything in Care: hosting, the SSL certificate, domain and DNS, daily backups kept off the server, updates, security and uptime monitoring, 30 minutes of content changes and a one-page report each month. On top of that come technical and on-page search work, Google, Bing, Apple and Yelp kept current, reviews monitored with replies drafted, visibility tracking including AI answers, and a quarterly review of what to change.
