AI visibility
People increasingly ask an assistant instead of typing a search. When they ask for a
business like yours, something gets named. This is the work of being what gets named.
What actually changed
Well over half of searches now end without anyone clicking through to a website, and in AI answers
that share is far higher. The answer arrives complete. This does not make rankings worthless — it
means a ranking no longer automatically becomes a visitor, so being cited in the answer itself now
matters as much as being listed below it.
What these systems actually read
An assistant assembling an answer is not reading your marketing copy the way a person would. It is
reading what can be stated unambiguously about you: structured data that names your business, what it
does and where; pages that answer a real question directly rather than circling it; and whether the
same facts appear consistently everywhere it can check.
Contradictions are what cost you. If your hours differ between your site and your profiles, or two
sources disagree about what you sell, the system has to choose — and it may resolve the doubt by
naming someone else.
What we do about it
- Structured data that states your business as an entity, not a decoration on the page
- An
llms.txtthat tells these systems what you do and where to read more - Your facts made consistent across every profile and source they check
- Pages written to answer the questions people actually ask
- Tracking of whether assistants name you, and who they name instead
What we can honestly measure, and what we cannot
We can measure whether assistants mention your business for the prompts that matter to you, and
whether that changes. We cannot promise you a place in an answer. No one controls these systems, they
change without notice, and anyone offering you a guarantee is selling something they do not have.
We also run this on ourselves. It seems fair to be measured by the thing we sell.
